about

“Wake up.”

“Wake up, wake up, wake up!!”

For six thousand years I’ve stood here alone. Numbers as time are irrelevant up to this point. The Ajna chakra opened, whiteness attacked my receptors and my eyes began to blink open. That was all that I understood. And what was it anyways that was that? Now that is this.

The Sky (Skye) walks towards me. Her hair as red as the fire during her deepest eclipse and her walk, which was more of flow, like a tiny waterfall drifting down. Just as she got closer I saw her eyes. They held tiny blue crystals so bright that it wasn’t until this very moment I had known now I too had been standing on a beach, in flesh. It wasn’t until now that I had tried to run. This body, these sense, all so new to me. I ran. As one would imagine being newly fitted with a body it was quiet hard to run. Like a baby taking his or her first step, I toppled over into the shells and salt water. As any beautiful night Skye would, I was picked back up, nurtured, and even fed. I could never forget how sun dried and burnt her shoulders were; so delicate and pink How could this happen? I never did ask, though. I just sat. And when food was handed to me, I ate. We broke bread and ate. There was no need to wash our filthy hands, caked with dirt between our nails. I was an animal. Finally. Finally?
